Many of the students attending Aligarh Muslim University come from all over the country. It is critical for them to find a safe and secure location to stay, especially for female students. For a female student travelling from another area of the country, the most significant worry is her safety and the hygienic environment that should be offered to her. Because of that, Aligarh Muslim University features a number of dependable halls for them.

1. Begum Azeezun Nisa Hall
Aligarh Muslim University’s Begum Azeezun Nisa Hall is a Girls-only residence hall with a capacity of 1500 female students. Dining Hall (the food served to the residents is of good quality and cooked with proper hygiene), Hostel Accommodation, Laundry, Wi-Fi, Generator Facility, Air-conditioned Reading Rooms, Common Room, Computer Room, Prayer Rooms, Geysers, Water Coolers, well-equipped Gymnasium, and ATM are some of the facilities provided by the Hall. Heartfelt efforts were made to provide the resident pupils with great infrastructure and a lovely eco-friendly environment. A welcoming infrastructure for differently-abled students is a unique aspect of the Hall.
2. Abdullah Hall
The hall currently has around 1300 people from all around the country. Every effort is taken to ensure that they have a pleasant stay away from home. Two canteens, a well-equipped computer room and gymnasium, a shared reading area, and shops for needs are all available in the hall. Wi-Fi is available throughout the campus, and electricity is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Girls are given responsibilities in the form of numerous hall committees, ranging from literary, extracurricular activities, and sports, to instil leadership abilities. Under the capable leadership of their separate wardens, they are encouraged to plan and administer the programmes on their own.
3. Begum Sultan Jahan Hall
The Hall currently has four blocks: A, B, C, and D. Each of the Blocks has four floors. There are 206 double-seated residential rooms in the Hall for girls pursuing various courses such as B.Th., B.Sc., M.Sc., LLM, M. Tech., MBA, MBAIB, BSW, and Research Scholars. The Dining Hall, Common Room, ICT Hub, Volleyball Court, Basketball Court, and Table Tennis are all part of Hall’s current infrastructure. The kitchen is equipped with Chapati Makers, Hot Cases, Deep Freezers, Refrigerators, and other items to serve fresh and hygienic meals to the inhabitants. The purification system comes with water coolers. Other facilities consist of unlimited Wifi, CCTV surveillance an Ambulance facility etc.
4. Indira Gandhi Hall
The Hall has a total capacity of 701. Indira Gandhi Hall offers standard living accommodations. Female students from the Faculty of Unani Medicine, as well as students from the Women’s College of Arts, Social Science, Commerce, and Science, are housed in the hall. Residents of the hall hail from a variety of Indian states, as well as nearby and far-flung nations (Bangladesh, Thailand, Gulf, Yemen, Malaysia, Indonesia, Jordan). The hall promotes self-sufficiency, multiculturalism, peaceful coexistence, and a healthy lifestyle. Extracurricular and co-curricular activities are held on a regular basis to help kids develop their personalities and confidence.
5. Sarojini Naidu Hall
The hall is made up of the main S.N. Hall building and five Annexes: the Main Hall, which has 280 people, the P.G. Hostel, which has 62 inmates, the Moin-ul-Haq Hostel, which has 58 residents, and the Nurses Hostel, which has 54 residents. The Common Room, Kitchen, Dining Hall, Reading Room, Computer Room, Badminton Court, and Basket Ball Ground are all located in the Main Hall. For P.G., Moin-ul-Haq, Nursing Hostel, there are additionally Dining Hall, Computer Room, Reading Room, and Common Room. S.N. Hall and its Annexes house 316 girls pursuing various programmes such as MBBS, BDS, MD, MS, P.G. Diploma courses, Professional Courses etc.
6. Bibi Fatima Hall
Bibi Fatima Hall is a residential hall for young women who need a safe place to call home. The Hall is designed to meet the diverse needs of the girls. It is self-contained, with its own mess and dining hall. Water coolers on each floor provide access to clean and safe drinking water. For the girls, the Hall also has a Wi-Fi connection. Recreational facilities include an indoor and outdoor game facility, as well as a common area. A backup generator is accessible with a connector in each room to give power. B. Tech, B. Arch, M. Tech, B.E., M.Sc. (Polymer Science), and PhD students make up the Hall.
